Mladen Sikirica, mr.sc. elektrotehnike, diplomirao je 2001. na Fakultetu elektrotehnike, strojarstva i brodogradnje (FESB) Sveučilišta u Splitu, smjer Telekomunikacije, a 2008. magistrirao na na Fakultetu elektrotehnike i računarstva (FER) Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. Od 2002. zaposlen je u u Hrvatskoj regulatornoj agenciji za mrežne djelatnosti (HAKOM) gdje radi na različitim regulatornim poslovima. Od 2021. rukovoditelj je Odjela ekonomije tržišta.

Predavanje: Pregled pokazatelja razvoja VHCN mreža i regulatornog okvira u Republici Hrvatskoj

Sažetak:      Predstavit će se relevantni statistički pokazatelji razvoja širokopojasnog pristupa u Republici Hrvatskoj, s naglaskom na mreže vrlo velikog kapaciteta (eng. VHCN - Very High Capacity Networks). Osim pokazatelja na nacionalnoj razini, posebna pozornost će se posvetiti značajnim geografskim razlikama koje postoje vezano uz razvoj VHCN mreža. Također će se predstaviti regulatorni okvir i najznačajnije regulatorne aktivnosti HAKOM-a u protekloj godini.

Mladen Sikirica, M. Sc. in Electrical Engineering, graduated in 2001 at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (FESB), University of Split, majoring in Telecommunications. In 2008 he received master's degree from Faculty of electrical engineering and computing (FER), University of Zagreb. Since 2002, he has been working at Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), where he works on different regulatory tasks. Since 2021, he has been the Head of the Market Economy Department.

Lecture:     Overview of VHCN networks development indicators and the regulatory framework in the Republic of Croatia

Abstract:    Relevant statistical indicators regarding the broadband access development in the Republic of Croatia will be presented, with emphasis on very high capacity networks (VHCN). In addition to the indicators at the national level, special attention will be paid to the significant geographical differences that exist in relation to the development of VHCN networks. The regulatory framework and the most relevant regulatory activities of HAKOM in the past year will also be presented.
